about the Conference:
The conference is the forum at which current scholars present their year’s research. Each year, all current scholars attend, and the next year’s cohort participates as well. Former Farmington scholars who teach may also take part. Alongside these presentations, there is a guest speaker, as well as free time to enjoy Oxford. Overall, the conference runs from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime, and all costs are covered by the Institute.
Importantly, the weekend is a time for teachers to get together in convivial surroundings, to talk about their work, network with others and ultimately come away with new ideas and encouragement for the year ahead.
