Our scholarships offer up to 30 days a year out of school, giving heads and teachers the chance to pursue a project that benefits both their school and the wider educational community. Farmington pay for cover teaching, provide a tutor, and grant access to a university library. We run an annual conference in Oxford or Cambridge where scholars present their findings and share insights with others.
Farmington scholars are those working in religious, moral or ethical education, or associated subjects.
Temple Grove Farmington scholars are those working in any subject in primary schools.
We organise a variety of forums around the country. These give groups of head teachers, of deputy heads, and of RE teachers the opportunity to take part in a series of meetings. Usually over a shared meal to informally discuss subjects of common interest.
Working with schools to reverse the effects of Covid disadvantage through our 40 Schools scheme and our primary school libraries project.
We provide scholarships for Armed Forces’ chaplains and senior staff members of the Armed Forces to pursue issues around moral and ethical leadership.
Supporting prison chaplains in Young Offender Institutions.
We support educational work by individuals and groups in a variety of spiritual, moral and ethical settings.
